Bounty mutineers arrive at Pitcairn Island 1/15/1790
Many gales have crossed the sea
Since the Bounty went away
Never was there heard a word
From the crew that stayed on board.

or in Hugill. Mutiny was in 1789, survivors were found on
Pitcairn Island in 1809. Therefore, song is said to date
from between 1789 and 1809 (& see 1/26, 4/28)
