The 18th Amendment, Prohibition, was Ratified 1/16/1919 {according to Bill
Gates & Microsoft & World Almanac. It was also Ratified 1/29/19 in Ency.
Brit.} & went into effect 1/2/20 & finally repealed 1933. The National
Prohibition Act, (Volstead Act) was enacted 10/28/19 to enforce it.
I'm sure all are familiar with the famed singer/songwriter Wladyslaw
Polak. In July 1929 he sang of the baptism party for his child..
