Happy Birthday!
On 3/16 in 1997:
On the 7th day of the month of Adar (II) Moses was born (circa 1250 bce)
& died at age 120 on the same day of the year.
With just a very quick look, I found:

(as one of those great pipe & drum
things by John Davis)

"Mary, Don't You Weep"
(Suffit's "Moses Rose" doesn't count - different guy.)
Seems he was a popular character in American folksong....
