of the Sakyas, on the present-day Nepal-India border.)
On 4/8 in Japan it's the Hana Matsuri flower festival & in Korea it's Hanamarsuri.
We will worship Good Old Buddha
Of the gods, there are none cutah
Comes in silver, brass or pewtah
And that's good enough for me.

In Duns, in the far reaches of Scotland, your humble editor & others founded & ran
Sidartha Films, Ltd. in 1970. The dh were dropped so Scots wouldn't get totally
hysterical at the name. Most assumed it was probably a combo of the company's
founders, Sid & Arthur. The notion, corny & disrespectful as it may be, was that
we had set out to Enlighten people...
We have occasionally regretted that if we were only better educated, we could be
more disrespectful to a far greater diversity of peoples.
