His disertation was research on three non-folk poets who made a living writing poetry
for existing traditional folk music: 17th century Thomas Durfey, 18th century Robert
Burns & 19th century Thomas Moore. Of course, no poet in the 20th century would
do such a thing.
Look for his name on Folk-Lyric & Arhoolie records.
