The 1st women's rights convention.
The genuinely significant leader, Amelia Bloomer, in her drive for
equality on that day introduced what came to be called "Bloomers."
With rosy red garters and pink hose on my feet

(You may think I might have posted a song for today relevant to a most
important milestone in the human drive for equality & liberation, rather
than one relevant to (currently) underwear... Well I didn't.)
