In St. John, New Brunswick,
John Monroe took his mistress
Sahah Vail & their daughter
for a buggy ride on 10/31/1868.
Then he killed them.
He didn't tell anyone about it, not even his wife and children.
Monroe was hanged on 2/15/1870.
Come all you people lend an ear,
A dreadful story you shall hear.
This murdrous deed was done of late
In eighteen hundred and sixty-eight.
