Until it gaze on Zion in the East.

Lih-yot am chofshi b'artseynu,
Erets Tsiyon vi-Rushalayim. .

Our ancient hope will not perish
Hope from ages long since past.
To live free in the land we cherish
Zion and Jerusalem at last
